Ariana Grande surprised fans by announcing her engagement to Dalton Gomez just days before Christmas, prompting even more interest in the luxury real estate agent who captured her heart.
The 27-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Sunday to share photos of herself cuddled up with Gomez and showing off her stunning diamond and pearl engagement ring, writing: ‘forever n then some.’
The couple’s relationship has thrust Gomez into the spotlight, but the 25-year-old has done his best to maintain his privacy as he and Grande embark on the next chapter of their lives.

According to his bio on the company’s site, he has been in the real estate business for five years. He doesn’t have any active listings at the moment, but he recently sold a mansion in Bel Air for $12.5 million.
Last year, he helped Grande’s music attorney, Aaron Rosenberg, sell his mansion in Hancock Park to The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar for $7.5 million.
Gomez may not be a singer, but he and Grande run in the same A-list circles. In July 2017, he was spotted hanging out with Miley Cyrus, who has been friends with Grande for years.

‘He used to be a dancer and they have many mutual friends,’ a source told E! News in March. ‘She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They’ve been spending a lot of one on one time at home.’
The pair first met when Grande was looking for another home through his luxury real estate firm and her team enlisted his help.
‘Ariana was looking for a home outside of Los Angeles to be her getaway house, and her team found Dalton to help,’ a source told Us Weekly over the summer.
‘When she saw him, she immediately thought he was cute and very good-looking, and she asked her team to set up an in-person meeting with him. Ariana fell very hard for Dalton shortly after they met.’
Gomez and Grande were first linked in January, and he attended her longtime manager Scooter Braun’s party celebrating his wife, Yael, becoming a U.S. citizen in February.

The couple’s love blossomed during the pandemic as they quarantined together in Grande’s Los Angeles home. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice Gomez in the photos and videos the singer shared on her Instagram Stories.
In March, multiple outlets broke the news of their relationship, with a source telling People that they had been privately dating for a few months.
‘Ariana is staying at home with friends. She is very serious about self-distancing and has been with the same group of people for days,’ the source said.
