The 2021 NFL offseason is likely to be defined by an inordinate number of trades involving quarterbacks. Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff have already swapped teams. Carson Wentz appears likely to be dealt soon as well, and we’re all aware of the situation in Houston with regards to Deshaun Watson. But, there is another big name that has been coming up as of late in trade rumors: Russell Wilson. Wilson has been a fixture in Seattle for the past nine seasons, but recently Mr. Unlimited has been publicly vocal about needing more protection from his O-line. The 32-year-old Wilson has not formally requested a trade, and says he wants to stay in Seattle “forever.” The sentiment in the front office appears to be mutual. Still, where there is smoke, there is usually fire, and teams will likely spend the next few months attempting to pry Wilson away from the only franchise he’s ever known.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Whenever Wilson’s time in Seattle is up, he will hold just about every record in franchise history, if he doesn’t own them already. So with that in mind, how many of the QBs to hold the franchise record for passing yards in a single-season, as Wilson does for Seattle, can you name in five minutes?
