NBA DFS: Bradley Beal and top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Feb. 15, 2021

Presidents Day delivers seven games for the NBA DFS prime-time slate, meaning 14 teams fill the NBA DFS player pool Monday with plenty of intriguing talent. Among the potential NBA DFS picks to consider is Atlanta’s Trae Young, who leads the Hawks against Julius Randle and the resurgent New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET. Another matchup to watch sees Golden State’s Stephen Curry square off against Cleveland’s Collin Sexton at 10 p.m. ET.

Should Young, Randle, Curry or Sexton be part of your NBA DFS lineups for Monday? And what other players should you consider in daily Fantasy basketball tournaments, 50-50s and cash games on DraftKings and FanDuel? Before locking in any daily Fantasy basketball picks for Monday’s action, be sure to see the NBA DFS advice, player rankings and top daily Fantasy basketball lineups from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

Top NBA DFS picks for Monday, Feb. 15

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for his Monday NBA daily Fantasy lineups is Wizards guard Bradley Beal at $8,900 on DraftKings and $9,800 on FanDuel. Beal leads the NBA in scoring at 32.9 points per game, and also delivers 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per outing. That includes a 35-point, seven-rebound, five-assist outburst Sunday against the Celtics.

Beal has been one of the consistent bright spots for the struggling Wizards this season, as the nine-year veteran is scoring more than 11 points per game over his career mark. Beal’s efforts Sunday were worth over 54 daily Fantasy basketball points on DraftKings, proof of his NBA DFS dominance. Beal and the Wizards get the Rockets on Monday, a team he torched for 33 points, four rebounds and five assists earlier this season.

Part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Nets guard James Harden at $10,700 on DraftKings and $10,600 on FanDuel. Harden is delivering 23.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 11.2 assists this season. He went for 19 points, eight rebounds and 16 assists Saturday against the Warriors.

Harden can still score in bunches, but his addition to a Brooklyn roster that includes fellow stars Kevin Durant (who is out Monday with a hamstring injury) and Kyrie Irving gives him more ability to stuff the stat sheet in different ways. Harden’s assist average is 5.8 over his career mark, for example, and he is pulling down 1.6 more rebounds per game than his career average.

Having reached double figures in assists for the seventh time in eight games Saturday, and with Durant absent from the lineup, Harden aims for another dominant NBA DFS performance Monday against the Kings.
