Hawks vs. Pistons: How to watch online, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Through 3 Quarters

The Atlanta Hawks are just one quarter away from delivering their fans the win they’ve been expecting. It’s looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Detroit Pistons as Atlanta lead 95-79. The Hawks have been led by point guard Trae Young, who so far has 28 points and nine assists along with four rebounds.

Atlanta and Detroit both experienced trouble in their last games, but one is bound to make up for it today. Atlanta is out front, but they can’t get complacent.

Current Records: Detroit 0-2; Atlanta 1-1

What to Know

The Detroit Pistons are staying on the road Monday to face off against the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 p.m. ET Oct. 25 at State Farm Arena. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’

The contest between the Pistons and the Chicago Bulls this past Saturday was not particularly close, with Detroit falling 97-82. Detroit was down 79-54 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Small forward Jerami Grant had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only nine points on 4-for-13 shooting and turning the ball over four times in his 31 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, Atlanta was within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap this past Saturday as they fell 101-95 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Point guard Trae Young put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 24 points and seven assists.

Detroit is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn’t have high expectations for them since the team is 0-2 ATS when expected to lose.

Detroit didn’t have too much trouble with the Hawks at home when the two teams previously met in April as they won 100-86. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pistons since the squad won’t have home-court advantage. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
