Kali Uchis Tops Emerging Artists Chart for First Time, Thanks to ‘Telepatía’

Sin Miedo also keeps at its No. 3 high on the Top Latin Albums chart with 12,000 equivalent album units.

Prior to “Telepatía,” Kali Uchis earned one entry on the Hot 100: Daniel Caesar’s “Get You,” on which she’s featured, reached No. 93 in 2018.

Among other Emerging Artists chart moves, Harry Fraud debuts at No. 11, as he makes his first visit to the Billboard 200. His collaborative set with Benny The Butcher, The Plugs I Met 2, opens at No. 33 (17,000 units).

Plus, TikTok star Addison Rae debuts at No. 38 thanks to her debut single “Obsession,” which tallied 4.9 million U.S. streams. The track is also being promoted to radio. Rae is the second-most-followed person on TikTok, with 79 million followers, after Charlie D’Amelio (over 111 million).

The Emerging Artists chart measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity. The chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard’s “Hot” song genre charts and/or consumption-based “Top” album genre rankings.
