Grammy Museum to Salute Blue Note Records to Mark Jazz Appreciation Month

Other programs in April will feature veteran artists Richie Furay, Tower of Power and Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr.

The latter couple won six Grammys as part of the Fifth Dimension and an additional award on their own with “You Don’t Have to Be a Star (to Be in My Show),” a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 in 1977.

Education Programming:

Grammy Career Day is a nationwide education program focused on career mentorship presented by the Grammy Museum for middle and high school students in music programs. Middle school and high school students and teachers across the U.S. are invited to join these Grammy Career Day event dates. Registration link.

Grammy Camp is a five-day nonresidential summer music industry program for high school students interested in pursuing a career in music. Students from across the U.S. can apply to one of the many career tracks offered during the 2021 session. The application deadline has been extended to April 15.  Application form.

Collection:live is available for $2.99/month or $29.99/year. Proceeds benefit the Grammy Museum’s music education initiatives and help keep the Museum’s mission alive while the physical location remains closed due to COVID-19.
