KBO odds, picks, lines, predictions, schedule, best bets for July 4: This three-way parlay pays nearly 6-1

Because the KBO playoffs feature a stepladder format, the better you perform during the regular season, the more likely you are to win the KBO Series. And with six teams above .500 and within seven games of first place, the next three months of baseball figure to be action-packed. The Samsung Lions are the hottest team in the KBO right now with four consecutive wins and an 8-2 record over their last 10 games.

On Saturday, they’ll take on the LG Twins, who are just a half game ahead of them and are occupying the fifth and final playoff spot at the moment. The Twins are -125 favorites in the latest KBO odds with the Lions listed as -105 underdogs, but betting the Lions have been worth a nearly $1,200 profit so far this season and a nearly $600 profit in the last 11 games. So before locking in any KBO picks for Saturday’s games, be sure to see the Korean baseball best bets from SportsLine data engineer Mike McClure.

Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune” as a top Daily Fantasy Baseball Player, McClure has won almost $2 million in daily Fantasy sports. And in 2016, McClure launched the wOBA Projection Model for MLB picks, which has returned $2,300 to $100 bettors.

Now, he’s turned his attention to the KBO and locked in three strong picks for Saturday. Parlaying his three selections would pay out nearly 6-1. You can only see them here.

Top Korean Baseball predictions for July 4

One of McClure’s top KBO picks for Saturday: He’s backing the NC Dinos (-170) as they take on the Kia Tigers in the second game of a three-game series. The Dinos will send former Marlins, Twins and Angels pitcher Drew Rucinski to the mound and he’s been one of the more dominant pitchers in the KBO so far this season.

Rucinski came to the KBO in 2019 and posted a 3.05 ERA in his first season in Korea, but he’s been even better in 2020. Rucinski is 6-1 with a 2.34 ERA and he’s had 61 strikeouts in 64 2/3 innings. Rucinski threw seven innings of shutout ball against a loaded Doosan Bears lineup in his last start and he creates a lot of value in the Dinos on Saturday.

“I like the Dinos at home with Drew Rucinski on the mound,” McClure told SportsLine. “I think they should be closer to -200 as I have them winning 65 percent of simulations.”
