The two are reportedly still going strong in 2021, People reports. The publication says that Martin and Johnson have been living together at the Martin’s $12.5 million mansion in Malibu since he bought it in October.
“Chris was always a big fan of Malibu,” a source told People. “He loves the beach and often goes surfing and running.” Johnson, who still reportedly owns her home in the Hollywood Hills, also apparently really likes the Malibu area.
“She seems to enjoy it as much as Chris does,” the source said. “They both love the outdoors and often take beach strolls. They also support local restaurants.”
On top of that, Martin and Johnson are still reportedly spending lots of quality time with Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, and her husband, Brad Falchuck. People says they share Sunday dinners.
In 2014, Paltrow and Falchuck made the term “conscious uncoupling” famous when they announced to the world, via Paltrow’s GOOP newsletter, that that was their plan for the future. “We have included our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will able to continue in the same manner.”
In January 2020, Paltrow told Harper’s Bazaar about how much she loves her ex-husband’s girlfriend, Johnson, for whom she even posted a 30th birthday tribute in October 2019.

“I love her,” Paltrow told Harper’s. “I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her. I always start to think of the ampersand sign—what else can you bring in, instead of being resistant to or being made insecure by? There’s so much juice in leaning in to something like that.”
